The Battlefield Healthcare conference has been held annually in Europe since 2008 and it is widely considered to be one of the most influential and important battlefield healthcare conference in Europe as battlefield medical advances continue to progress.

This event will explore the challenges faced and lessons learnt by practising clinicians and senior military medical officers across the entire casualty care lifecycle. Focussing on tactical level care, through to aero medical evacuation, field level care and recovery and rehabilitation of military personnel, the special focus of the November 2011 event will be the applicability of lessons learned from combat trauma care for civilian response to emergencies and disasters.

The expert speaker panel will be joined by Medics, Nurses, Medical Commanders, Surgeons and Doctors, as well as serving Surgeon Generals. Also represented will be the senior management of leading industry contractors looking to present delegates with the latest battlefield medical advances in technology and procedures.

Given the continuing need to develop trauma management techniques in response to complex polytrauma events, this event provides a unique and timely platform by which participants can examine lessons learned from recent operations and explore new technologies and systems that can save lives.
